Wow. Well, I agree with writer from my own experience...but I must distinguish the more public the dispute, the worse it is...and mine was pretty public and I was indeed villified. But, I can honestly say that the system I now work in is extremely victim-oriented, so I'm gonna differ from the writer and say it depends on where you live. Birmngham is fucked up in a LOT of ways, but luckily the DV (domestic violence) judge we have in place now does not take these things lightly and the victim advocate is definitely pro-victim. Anyway, we're stil in the speculation phase on the r/c sitch'...so we'll see what happens...
